Class Descriptions
All levels are welcome in every class. Modifications and variations will be given. Do what you can! The goal is to get you moving and breathing consciously; your blood pumping and mind focused.
Hatha Yoga
26&2 series. Pranayama, standing balancing postures, floor asanas and gentle stretches. Create space, length and strength in the spine and body. Quiet the mind. Calm the spirit.
Jazz
First 40 minutes is "the warm-up" consisting of pliés, tendus, isolations, stretch, strength and conditioning. The remainder of class includes combinations across the floor and at center. *Barefoot or socks for the warm-up. Jazz shoes recommended for across the floor and center combos.
Pilates Mat
Joseph Pilates mat exercises.
Strength
Functional strength training.
Barre
Train like a dancer. First half of class is standing, second half is on the floor. Combine ballet barre, jazz warm-up, Pilates exercises and more to shape long, lean muscles. Stretch and vitalize your body and mind. Class is done barefoot or in socks.
